GUNSHIP REUNION

For those that did not make the FFL Reunion last Saturday, you missed another Good One!!!

We had close to 120 "Friends of the First Lady" there with several traveling a long distance.

It was an exciting night with guest speakers from both the 16th and 711th SOS giving us short

briefings from the First Lady's early years in Vietnam through her years with the711th SOS at

Duke where she was retired in 1995 before taking her rightful place at the Armament Museum.

That was followed by a very informative briefing on the current day missions of the 919th SOW.

A special"Thank You"to our Guest Speakers Paul Singleton, Charlie Ware and Al Greenup.

We then ate anOutstanding Dinner hosted by some "Special Ladies" who ended up doing all

the work while we spent the rest of the night mingling with all our Old Comrades from the past.

"Thank you Ladies"for your patience, and understanding what this night means to everyone.

It was truly a night to remember, and I think everyone there had a real good time visiting with

Old Friends from our past who shared manyGood & Bad experiences together over the years,

and we're looking forward to seeing even more of our Old Comrades at the next FFL Reunion.

We hope to have the Reunion pictures on our website next week at: friendsofthefirstlady.org

Our "Grateful Appreciation"to all theFriends of the First lady who always volunteer their

time and experience in helping the FFL Committee make these Reunions successful. It takes

anAll-Out coordinated effort by everyone to make this Special Night work so well every time.
